Training Options Personal Training One-on-one training sessions with your personal trainer keeps you highly focused on achieving your health objectives. Personal Best trainers are committed to your success. Your health objectives determine how we develop your program. Your individual program will use combinations of resistance exercise to develop strength, cardio-vascular exercise to develop stamina and stretching to develop flexibility. Nutritional advice will focus on supporting the exercise program. Close monitoring of your performance will help in adjusting the program as we go and to ensure that we increase the intensity when it is needed. If you require extra personal attention, have a special medical consideration or simply want to treat yourself to the best that we can offer, then this is the service for you. If you find you work better with a partner, you have the option of working with a friend or family member. Back To Top Group Training If you don’t require the close monitoring and motivation you get from one-on-one training we also offer small group sessions. These offer many of the benefits of individual programs without the close supervision. Similarly to the individual program we use combinations of resistance exercise to develop strength, cardio-vascular exercise to develop stamina and stretching to develop flexibility. Nutritional advice will focus on supporting the exercise program. Close monitoring of your performance will help in adjusting the program as we go and to ensure that we increase the intensity when it is needed. Group training is available at specifically allocated times. Your session time may be shared with up to 5 other clients and while it is not a one on one service you will still be monitored through an individualised program by one of our trainers. Back To Top Running Club We hold running clubs once a week at different locations. The groups encourage members to get outdoors and help motivate each other. Fitness Assessments Your program includes fitness targets that help you to assess your progress. We monitor your progress, advise you of your success and adjust the program if needed. We monitor strength increases, weight loss and gain, body girth, fitness, and flexibility improvements. Personal Best recommends that you have a fitness assessment every 2 -3 months.
