In September 2004, I walked into Personal Best Training Studio at Albany Creek. For the past two years, I hadn't done any exercise or played any sport, was unfit and overweight. I had also undergone two shoulder reconstructions after injury sustained in an accident. I was keen to start playing sport again and get fit, but besides all that, I had a serious goal in mind, to climb Mt McKinley in Alaska!

From the moment I sat down with Carol, I knew she had the "goods" to take me from what I was, to where I am today and beyond. I've gone from not being able to run 5 minutes to the reality that I will be participating in my first half marathon in little over 7 weeks, just one of my mini goals before the "big one".

Carol spent extensive additional hours researching my sport, but getting me fit wasn't the only issue she had to contend with, rehabilitation was also a big factor in my program too.

Eight months on, I have never been fitter or felt healthier in my life and I believe this can be attributed to the brilliant and motivating training skills of Carol Keane. I am back playing my beloved rugby (which I participated in before the accident), enjoying life and inching ever so close to the summit of Mt McKinley
